Denshattack! is the chaotic, color-splashed train-skate fever dream we absolutely deserve

Nov 27, 2025. So, imagine waking up one morning and discovering that someone mashed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, early-2000s Sonic energy, and Japan’s undying adoration for trains… then poured the whole thing into a cel-shaded blender and hit MAX POWER.

That’s basically Denshattack!, the newest unhinged passion project from Catalan indie studio Undercoders, rolling straight into PC, PS5, and Xbox Series in 2026.

🚆✨ Skate tricks… on trains? Yes. Actually yes.

If you’ve ever thought, “What if a Shinkansen could do a kickflip?” then congratulations — Undercoders has been listening to your brainwaves.

In the world of Denshattack!, rival train crews rule the rails of Japan, each with their own style, attitude, and extremely questionable safety standards. You’ll be grinding along rooftops, pulling ollies between carriages, and wall-riding across metal giants as you speed through the country.

These aren’t your commuter-line trains. These trains skate. They fight. They cause property damage with flair.

And just when you think the game has peaked in chaos, it throws you into a downhill challenge where you’re sliding along… a ferris wheel, because why not.

🎨 A cel-shaded parade of color (plus customizable trains!)

Denshattack! leans all the way into a saturated, candy-bright aesthetic that screams arcade nostalgia meets Saturday anime marathon. Every stunt you land, every enemy you smoke, earns you reputation — and that means upgrades.

You’ll be able to modify and transform your train like it’s a personalized skate deck with an engine attached. Flashier parts, better stats, weird accessories… it’s all fair game.

And you’ll need that power-up, because each stage ends with a boss fight that looks like someone let a mecha designer loose behind the wheel: gigantic robots, cursed castles turned mobile death machines, and who knows what else waiting down the tracks.

If you’ve played anything from this team before, you know they’re masters at polished, cheerful chaos. Denshattack! looks like their most ambitious rollercoaster yet — the kind of game you fall in love with from one screenshot.

The only thing they haven’t given yet is a firm release date. For now, “Spring 2026” is all we’ve got. But hey, that’s enough time to emotionally prepare for train-parkour mecha battles, right?

Denshattack! launches Spring 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
Get ready to grind rails you absolutely shouldn’t be allowed on.
