Creating an Account

  • Hit Sign Up
  • Pick a username (you can change it later if you suddenly hate it)
  • Verify your email so the site stops judging you

Congrats. You’re now part of the Gamerden ecosystem.

Logging In

Just click Login.
That’s it.
Unless you forgot your password — in which case go to the Troubleshooting section because… yeah.

2. ✏️ Posting on Gamerden

Types of Posts

Gamerden supports:

  • News posts (fast, spicy updates)
  • Reviews (longform or chaotic — up to you)
  • Blogs (your hot takes live here)
  • Reactions (quick “I saw this and I must say something” energy)

Creating a Post

  1. Click New Post
  2. Choose a category
  3. Dump your thoughts into the editor
  4. Add tags so people actually see it
  5. Hit Publish or Draft if you’re not ready to commit

Editing Posts

You can edit any post you made.
Yes. Even the embarrassing ones.
Especially the embarrassing ones.

3. 🛠 Formatting: Or How to Make Your Post Pretty

Basic Tools

  • Bold / Italic / Underline
  • Headers (H1–H3 depending on how dramatic you are)
  • Lists (chaos lists welcome)
  • Quotes
  • Links
  • Read More cuts for long rambles (please use them… for us)

Styling Tips (unofficial but spiritually correct):

  • Break long paragraphs.
  • Use headers like you’re seasoning food.
  • Add memes responsibly.
  • Don’t be afraid to be dramatic. That’s the brand.

Why Tags Matter

Tags help your posts get found.
No tags = your post is screaming into the void.

Best Practices

  • Use 3–7 tags
  • Mix big tags (“news”, “reviews”, “JRPG”) with specific ones (“Like A Dragon”, “Destiny 3 leak”)
  • Avoid “asdfghjkl”—yes, we’ve seen it

Custom Categories

Admins may add special tags (e.g., “Gamerden Originals”).
Flex them. They look cool.

Adding Images

  • Paste or upload directly
  • JPG/PNG recommended
  • Keep it tasteful

Allowed. Encouraged. Blessed.
But please compress so the site doesn’t explode.

Commenting

  • Be nice.
  • Or at least be funny.
  • Or at minimum don’t start console wars under someone’s recipe for Skyrim mods.

Community Rules (Chill Version):

  • No harassment
  • No hate speech
  • No spam
  • No leaking people’s DMs
  • No posting full game ROMs (please why do we have to say this)

Breaking rules may get you:

  • A warning
  • A timeout
  • Bonked by moderation

You can change:

  • Banner
  • Bio (yes, make it unhinged. It’s tradition.)
  • Username
  • Password

Notifications

You can toggle:

  • Comments
  • Follows
  • Likes

“I can’t log in.”

Try:

  • Reset password
  • Clear cookies

“My images won’t upload.”

Check:

  • File size
  • Format
  • Your internet (we believe in you)

“Why does my post look weird when published?”

Usually:

  • Missing line breaks
  • Copy–paste formatting ghosts
  • A stray link tag you didn’t notice

“Can I delete my account?”

Yes.
